| Dominique Faria é Professora Auxiliar na Universidade dos Açores, onde tem lecionado disciplinas nas áreas da literatura, da cultura, da língua francesas e dos Estudos de Tradução. É doutorada em Literatura Francesa, com uma tese sobre o romance francês contemporâneo. É ainda sub-diretora da revista científica Carnets e membro da comissão científica e do comité de leitura de Fert’îles, publicação anual da Universidade da Córsega dedicada ao tema da ilha.
Foi co-editora, juntamente com Ana Isabel Moniz, Leonor Coelho e José Domingues Almeida, de “L’insulaire”, nº3 da revista Carnets, em 2015, e de L’île, Images, Imaginaire, Fictions, (Porto, 2014). Dominique Faria is an assistant professor at the University of Azores, where she teaches classes on French literature and culture and on Translation Studies. She has a PhD on French Literature, having written a thesis on the French contemporary novel. She is also vice-director of the academic journal Carnets, and member of the Scientific committee and the Reading committee of Fert’îles, an annual publication of the University of Corsica, dedicated to the study of island related topics.
She also co-edited, along with Ana Isabel Moniz, Leonor Coelho and José Domingues de Almeida, “L’insulaire”, n.3 of the academic journal Carnets, in 2015, and L’île, Images, Imaginaire, Fictions, (Porto, 2014).
